Her background in theatre design has strongly influenced her approach and style.   Seeking out personality in whatever she draws, she relishes the mischievous, extraordinary, poetic and strange - translating ideas to paper through a combination of dip pen & ink, colored pencil and gouache paint.  She is particularly drawn to capturing people and the broad spectrum of their expressions as well as animals, nature & food.  Caroline is a published children's book illustrator.  Her first book, 'Scary Fairy & the Fearful Forest' by Jana Bauer was published in Slovenia in 2011.  She is currently working on her next book with Jana.  Her illustrations have also adorned shop windows, websites, publications and clothing.
